Grade 444 Stainless Steel Chemical Composition

King Steel Pipe is able to supply Grade 444 stainless steel plate, Grade 444 stainless steel coil and Grade 444 stainless steel sheet. Any need for Grade 444 stainless steel chemical composition and Grade 444 stainless steel mechanical properties testing, please contact us.

Grade 444 stainless steel is a low carbon, low nitrogen, ferritic stainless steel that provides pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to most ferritic stainless steels. Applications of Grade 444 stainless steel requiring superior corrosion resistance and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking are ideal for this alloy.
The chemical composition of grade 444 stainless steel is outlined in the following table.

Grade 444 stainless steel provides excellent formability and can be readily deep drawn and spin formed. Stretch forming, however, is limited in application for this alloy.
